Backend Developer (m/f/d)

We are a tech start-up from Cologne that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to reduce food waste. We have developed an AI that analyzes historical sales data from bakeries, restaurants and food retailers and combines it with important influencing factors to create an automated sales forecast for the next day's order. In this way, we help to ensure that less food ends up in the garbage can.

What you move with us:

• Design, program, test and implement new backend applications.
• Test and improve existing backend applications.
• Troubleshooting and correction of errors.
• Conversion of customer requirements into concrete technical solutions.
• Consultation with front-end developers and cross-departmental collaboration

 What you bring:

• A completed apprenticeship or degree in IT or comparable qualifications.
• You have good knowledge of backend development (experience with Python, Java etc ...)
• You have already gained experience in working with PostgreSQL databases and in development in the AWS environment (e.g. RDS).

• Optimization of the data connection between different platforms (e.g. AWS, RDS, S3).
